In a Landscape orientation, mark the top and bottom edges at 1 3/4" and 4 1/2"
Step 2
Turn card to a Portrait orientation
Lining up the ruler with the previous marks, mark 1/2" in from both sides
Step 3
At the top and bottom edges, 1/2" in from the sides, count an additional 3 little ticks (3/16") towards the middle and make a mark.
Step 4
Using a straight edge as a guide, cut with a blade from mark to mark. Scissors may be used but aren’t as precise.
Step 5
Using a straight edge to assist, fold 4 flaps along the dotted lines as shown.
It may be helpful to orient the envelope here to its final orientation with the
1 1/2" flap at the bottom and the longer one on top.
Use a small hard surface to press the creases into a sharp angle
Step 6
Using scissors, cut little triangles out as shown. This makes the final piece fold better.
Step 7
Cut bevels out of the corners shown. We want the top flap to be angled but we want the bottom flap to be curved.
Step 8
Fold side flaps in and apply glue
Step 9
Fold the bottom up and let the glue dry. Insert a letter and a sticker and you're done!
